Mission: To provide information, and a range of services, activities and volunteer opportunities which promote personal growth, health, friendship and independence for older persons.

 

The Garfield Heights Senior Center is located in The Civic Center, 5407 Turney Road. Senior Activities

All activities are held at the Senior Center, 5407 Turney Road, Garfield Heights.  Yearly registration is required.

Nance Rayokovich is the on-site Activities Administrator.  She is responsible for overseeing volunteers and volunteer-lead programs, leading some of the exercise and art classes as well as putting together the annual trips.  She can be contacted at 216-475-3244.

        Cleveland Indians Baseball Game

        To all Garfield Heights residents 60 years of age and over - come and join us on our trip to Progressive Field and cheer on the Indians while they battle the MINN. on Tuesday, May 27th.

        The City of Garfield Heights and the Senior Center are hosting this trip for all residents who are 60 years of age and older.  All seniors are invited to join us for a relaxing trip to Progressive Field.  Free snacks, ticket and transportation will be provided for those attending.  Trip requires some walking.

        Only 140 tickets will be available.  Senior may begin registering on April 14th by stopping in at the Senior Center, 5407 Turney Road, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  You must bring PROOF OF RESIDENCY and can only register yourself and your spouse.  Registration will end as soon as the 140th person is registered.
