Job Seekers_Session #9 WHAT’S IN MY BACKYARD? EXPLORING OHIO’S INDUSTRY AND TOP EMPLOYERS. Healthcare is one of the top industries in the Cleveland area with employment for 15% of the all the jobs here. However, Cleveland is poised for growth in several other industries over the next few years. Come learn about other opportunities for job seekers and learn how you can do a customized search for employers you may want to target. This workshop will teach participants how to research local companies and industries and help them find where they want to work. They will also discover how to research needed information to impress a company at the interview. This is the fourth part of a five week series. Thursday, March 13, 9:30-11:30am. Internet Essentials Struggling to wade through the sea of information online? Learn how to find what you're looking for and make sure it's from a trusted source on the Internet. Prerequisite: Participants should be proficient using a mouse and keyboard before signing up for this class. e-Reader Assistance Need help getting started with downloading FREE E-books from the Library? Stop at the Information Desk during this time with your device (Kindle, Nook, IPad, etc.) for a drop-in individual session. If you have a Nook or other eReader, you will need your own laptop to complete a download. If you have a Kindle, you will need to bring your Amazon.com account email and password.
